Hello Webstix Clients and Friends! We're 15 Years Old! 
Yes, on June 1st, we turned 15! Next year, we'll have our driver's license! :-)
We first opened shop on June 1, 2001. Time flies, right? There were just 3 of us back then. Now, we're over 20 people and have hundreds of website projects under our belts. Amazing. Thank you for trusting us with your projects - we appreciate our clients! What's This "2016 Update?" We've sent some emails out regarding what we're calling the "2016 Website Update." Basically, it's getting your website ready for voice search. Our clients (you guys) are always asking us to keep you up to date on what's going on and that makes sense. You want to make sure your website is working the right way and reaching as many people (your customers) as possible. There have been a number of changes over the years - we saw mobile website design (adaptive) and then it went to responsive web design that had a deadline called "Mobilegeddon" last year where Google stopped showing websites that weren't responsive (made for mobile devices). Another big one was (and still is) getting your Google PageSpeed score to be passing. There were even smaller changes like updates to your "robots.txt" file. The website design industry changes a lot - SEO (search engine optimization) changes almost daily... well, let's say weekly. 
So now, we're helping you make sure your website is ready for voice search. Since most searches now are done on mobile phones, it makes sense to make sure your website is optimized for voice search. People ask Siri (or whatever they named their device... which is slightly creepy that we're doing that now) a question and if your website has voice search optimization done, you have a better chance of showing up for those results.

Our New Website! 
I don't honestly know how we found the time to do it but we launched another website of our own. I've heard it's the contractor's wife that never gets her projects done and that's kind of how it works with us working on our own websites.
Our new site isn't our main site (that one's next) but it's a website directed at industry and manufacturing. We're stil doing website design for other markets but now that we're in our 16th year, we've figured out that we're good at specializing in websites for manufacturers and we want to focus on that.
